0 - The Fool
“I’m cool like that” says the guy standing outside 100ft in the air wearing shades and holding a selfie stick. He’s headed upwards because he’s convinced it’s better than where he is in this moment. He really hasn’t thought it all the way through though so be’s just going on “blind faith”. The Fool represents being the “risk taker” so ask yourself is it worth the risk?
I - The magician
A trickster in his reverse energy. The magician is all about “Making it happen” You have thepower to manifest or achieve anything you set your mind to, you just have to utilize your resources.
II - The High Priestess
Symbol of wisdom and intuition. The High Priestess is not trying to be your friend. She is trying to tell you the truth, whatever it is. Even if you don't like it. She is honest and direct. When she appears in a reading someone is either being asked to trust their gut so to speak or wait until more is revealed before taking action. The High priestess is known as the “keeper of secrets” in the tarot.
III - The Empress
The Empress is Big Divine Femine energy. She represents the “femine energy” she is strong, resilient, loving, nurturing but also she is fierce, and can be “needy” or demanding and highly emotional at times. She exudes confidence and strong sex appeal. She is able to give life, which is why she is also a symbol of fertility, motherhood and pregnancy.
IV - The EMPEROR
AKA “Divine Masculine” The Emperor is a strong , determined and fierce leader, He is certain about what he wants done and who he wants to do it. This is strong, mature “masculine” energy. the Emperor shows up to remind us to stand tall, and take back our power in a situation. To gain control and balance. Extremely high level of egotism.
V - The Hierophant
As you look at the priest in this card . He's bored. He yawns while a parishioner repents of his sins to him. This card suggests that you should not trust too much those to whom you reveal your secrets.
VI - The Lovers
Are they “the one”? Is it “love” or “lust”? These are the questions to ask when this card appears in a reading. Also love comes in all forms, shapes and sexual preferences, from lesbian, transgender to homosexual. Everyone deserves to be loved and experience love. Love is a bond it’s literally the highest vibration. It represents something binding or united. It also mean “contracts” aka “mutual consent”. The Lovers is most commonly associated with “soulmates” and anyone you share a connection can be a “soulmate”.
VII - The Chariot
“Let’s go!!” The chariot is all about “”forward movement. No matter how tough things get you keep going until you reach your destination. The chariot is also about “duality” embracing and accepting a situation for what it is so that you can move forward. The balance between positive and negative, good and bad.
VIII - Strength
“The strength” card is about having courage, being bold, standing your ground. Don’t back down when this card appears but also choose your battles. Don’t start a mess that you can’t fix. Also if you lack courage or constantly move in “fear” this is your sign to gain confidence. Be sure and certain of yourself and your skills. Also set boundaries.
IX - The Hermit
This dummy is sitting on the bus by himself with the mist stoic expression on his face. The Hermit is a symbol of reflection. To focus on where you’re headed not where you’ve been. He is focused on his old traumas and thinks what he needs to do next in order to escape them in the future.
X - The Wheel of Fortune
The wheel is about “timing” it’s like something happening at just the right time. Sometimes we fear it because it’s also about change and it comes without warning sometimes. Life is a constant shifting of cycles. And things not always depend on you. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don’t.
XI - Justice
Justice equals “fair” or “balance”. As the saying goes “what goes around, comes around”. Basically justice will be served, karma is “universal law” so we should all think before we act. If you make poor choices you WILL face the consequences sooner or later. Remember just because it “feels good” doesn’t make it “right” or moral. The golden rule “Do unto others as you would have them do to you”.
XII - The hanged man
The hanged man represents seeing things from a different “angle” as you can she she’s upside down. Maybe this woman “thought” she liked this family at one point but now she’s reconsidering that since they have her “stuck” in mid air. Also being “stuck” literally causes you to sit and think about what’s going on around you without making any impulsive decisions. Being “stuck” sometimes forces us to humble ourselves and ask for help when we need it. There’s nothing you can do bound and gagged, suspended in air without assistance from another source.
XIII - Death
This card is about “endings” and “rebirth” but it also reminds us that our time on earth is limited so instead if focusing on the past or what was it’s more important to “release” and be present. Live in the now, enjoy life because it’s not forever.
XIV - Temperance
What is the difference between one glass of wine at dinner on Saturday and alcoholism? Everything is good in moderation. Your relationship will not get better if you control everything. Sometimes your partner needs some space to do their own things. Sometimes even nuns need to unwind.
XV - The Devil
All that glitters is not gold. Don’t fool yourself into thinking just because it looks, sounds or feels good that it’s the best thing for you. Don’t be naive and gullible. Look at the facts because sometimes it’s not what it appears to be. Don’t allow anyone to tempt you. You have the power over your own mind. Choose wisely.
XVI - The Tower
If you've ever played Tetris, you know that it takes a lot of defeat to become a pro. Life doesn't end with a loss. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger. This card speaks of the necessary destruction to open up new possibilities.
The Star
What are you hopes and dreams? The Star card asks us to think about the endless possibilities of what “could be” it’s about dreams coming true. Wishing upon a star. You can have it if you believe you can.
XVlll - The Moon
The moon is about “illusions” This card brings to mind “The Matrix” Not everything we see is real. But just what IS “real”?
XIX - The Sun
The sun is all about joy, happiness and positivity. All the brightest points and the highlights of our life experiences. Basically finding your joy and being able to let your hair down and enjoy the breeze outside. The Sun also shows us things that maybe we didn’t see, like things we take for granted and what really matters in life. The great “Illuminator”.
XX - Judgement
Judgement is all about “accountability” , “karmic review”, and our choices in life. What decisions are you currently being faced with? Is it something that could land you in jail or doing time like Barbie here? Is it even worth it. The choices you make now will effect you later. Also if you’ve wronged someone it’s your responsibility to “make amends” or “reconcile”. Judgement is also about fixing our behavior.
XXI - The World
This card says Have fun and experience life. Go and experience different cultures, cuisines and art, get out and literally “see the world” it’s a rotating work of art. You never know , you could meet the love of your life out there, regardless your experience will have you transform your opinions about other ethnicities and experience different cycles. The world also says “been there done that” it’s time to go hence the butterflies.
